Dhammapada
Buddhism
Scripture of a living faith: the library collects it and does not score it, and readers cannot rate it.
A collection of 423 verses attributed to the Buddha, arranged in twenty-six chapters by theme: the mind, the fool, the wise, anger, happiness. Part of the Pali Canon, it is learned by heart by monks and lay people across Theravada Asia. Its couplets are plain, vivid and easy to remember, which has made it one of the most translated Buddhist texts.
