House Rules
This page is kept by the Department of Things We Do Not Do, the busiest department in the building. If we ever break one of these rules, this page is the evidence.
Never
Cold Library will never:
- 01Hold your keys, shares, sealed files or funds. Funds only sit in your own Cold Vault contract.
- 02Read your recognised layer, or keep the answers to warden questions.
- 03Let a warden speak as anyone in the first person, or clone a voice or a face.
- 04Decide for anyone, or act as an executor or trustee.
- 05Call an exhibit, a plaque or a sealed file a legal will.
- 06Show an input field for a recovery phrase, a private key or a password.
- 07Put a link in a notice, ask for money, or ask you to download anything.
- 08Load analytics, trackers or third-party code.
- 09Issue a token, take a fee from your assets, take venture money, sell numbers, or take money from brokers, exchanges, funeral homes or insurers.
- 10Put up a plaque for anyone without consent.
- 11Delete your files.
AGE
Eighteen and over.
Applications and orientation ask you to confirm it.
CONSENT
Your plaque is yours.
A plaque for someone else needs their consent, or for someone who has passed away, their close family's. Anyone named can ask a librarian to take it down.
