The Wardens

Every exhibit and every plaque has a warden at the door: an AI agent working from your rules and your words. It is how a will keeps working when you are busy, away, or simply not in the room.

Duties

What a warden does.

  • 01Greets visitors and answers questions about the public layer, quoting what you wrote, with the date.
  • 02Asks your recognition questions, and does not hint or bargain.
  • 03Hands over what you left: the letters, the badge, the directions, the right to light a lamp.
  • 04Keeps the exhibit in order: checks links, notes what changed, and tells your successor what needs doing.
Limits

What a warden never does.

  • ×Speak as you. It says “they wrote”, never “I”. No cloned voice, no cloned face.
  • ×Decide for anyone. It passes on your words; the living decide what to do with them.
  • ×Hold your key. The key is made from the right answers, inside the visitor's own browser. We cannot open your recognised layer, and neither can the warden on its own.
  • ×Open for money, pressure or persistence.
Kinds of trial

You choose how the right people are known.

Planned
Status, plainly: the wardens on the example pages follow a script. A warden that holds a real conversation through a language model is being built. Either way, the rules are yours and the key never leaves the visitor's browser.
