The snow print from the same Snow, Moon and Flowers series as the Yodo moon on this wall. Hokusai lets the snow sit in thick, rounded masses on every bank and branch, almost like cotton, against a hard blue river. Put the two side by side and you can see one artist tuning the same palette for cold and for warmth.
