A sealed box on a long table between two lamps

Key Room

The key to your sealed layer is split into shares. No single person can open anything. It takes two of three, or whatever number you choose, and the box itself is kept somewhere else.

Keepers

Choose people, not passwords.

  • 01Three is a good number: someone technical, someone from your family, and someone who lives elsewhere.
  • 02Each keeper agrees first, and may step down at any time.
  • 03A share lives on paper or steel. Never photographed, never sent in a chat app.
  • 04Once a year, each keeper checks their own share alone.
